About Great Joy Schools!
Great Joy Schools is a vision given in September 2003, to provide qualitative education and raise children in a contemporary academic and cultural setting that will give the children a legacy built on an enduring foundation.
At Great Joy Schools, we provide care, lay foundation skills in a Montessori setting, develop the individual talents of young people and teach them to relate the experience of the classroom to the realities of the world outside. Our products become critical and compassionate thinkers, lifelong learners and informed participants on local and world affairs.
As a prospective student, your success at GJS College requires effective time management, strong study skills and high motivation and effort. You will find out that teachers are demanding more than what was obtainable in your former school; the work you are required to do is more difficult and you are expected to develop independent study skills.
To help you succeed, GJS has put together a learning skills program with tips to assist you develop the right skills that will move you towards succeeding not only at GJS but also beyond. GJS College is accredited by Lagos State Ministry of Education, British Council and registered by the University of Cambridge as a center for her ‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels examinations.
