JAMB CAPS 2025: How to Check, Accept & Confirm Admission Offers

JAMB CAPS Admission Offer

The Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) by JAMB is the official portal where candidates can check their admission status, accept or reject offers online. Here's a guide to using CAPS in 2025 so you don’t miss your chance. ([MySchoolGist](https://myschoolgist.com/ng/jamb-caps/))

Quick Overview:
  • Check if you’ve been offered admission by your school.
  • Accept or reject the offer—you cannot keep both.
  • Upload O-Level results if you were awaiting them, to unlock offers.

Steps to Check Your Admission Status

Using a Computer

  • Go to the JAMB e-Facility login page (efacility.jamb.gov.ng).
  • Enter your email, password, and log in.
  • Click **“Check Admission Status”** → select your exam year → enter your JAMB registration number → access your CAPS dashboard.
  • Go to **“Admission Status”** to see if you have an “Accept” or “Reject” option.

Using a Mobile Phone

  • Open your mobile browser, visit the e-Facility portal and log in.
  • If functions are limited, switch to desktop view mode in the browser.
  • Tap *Admission Status*, search using your registration number.
  • If admitted, select **“Accept Admission”**, or **reject** if you’re not interested.

What To Do If Things Aren’t Showing Up

  • If no offer is visible yet, check whether you selected “Awaiting Result” earlier; upload your O’Level result now. (Sometimes offers depend on that.)
  • If the school gives you a different course than applied for, use the **Transfer Approval** option in CAPS to accept or decline.

Important Tips & Reminders

  • Only accept one admission offer—once accepted, you cannot switch to another.
  • Print your JAMB Admission Letter after acceptance—most schools require it for registration.
  • Keep checking CAPS regularly—some schools upload additional batches or delayed offers.
Heads Up: Be sure to use the official JAMB e-Facility portal. Beware of fake messages or sites claiming to offer shortcuts. Always double-check from official sources.
