HISTORY IN BRIEF
Franciscan Nursery and primary school was established in the year 1962 by Franciscan sisters who aimed to lay a good Christian foundation for our young ones and to equip the pupils to live effectively in our modern age of science and technology.
The school gained her Government approval in the year 1964 after all requirement has been certified.
Since the establishment, the school has totally contributed to the development of Ijesaland, the state of Osun and Nigeria as whole in bringing up complete and well cultured children in the society.
The history of the school could be traced back to noticeable reverend sisters that had been the headmistress or worked for the school since the inception and their names cannot be mentioned here.
