About The Tenets Schools
The Tenets Schools are unique Islamically inspired schools, which are built on the standards and morals of Islam and professionally blended in administering western education on its pupils and students.
The Tenets Nursery and Primary Schools, Ikorodu were established on 1st of July 2003. It is a co–educational institution designed for the rightful development of a child. The proprietors are Mrs M.O Alli-oluwafuyi and Mrs M.M Popoola. Seven teaching staff and three non-teaching members of staff resumed on Friday 19th September, 2003. Orientation programme as well as necessary preparation for the school's resumption commenced against the following Monday. On Monday 23rd September, 2003, the first day of the resumption, thirty six pupils resumed in a compound of two buildings of ten classrooms and two administrative offices.
To the glory of God and efforts of the school's stakeholders, the school has grown from strength to strengths. By 2011/2012 academic session, the pupils' population was 309 with teaching staff strenght of 38 and non teaching staff of 12 . A newly erected two-storey building of 20 classrooms with computer and science laboratories, 3 staff rooms, and a hall.
