Nigeria EV Youth Training

In a landmark green mobility initiative, the Youth in Parliament Forum (YIPF) has partnered with CAWIN Mobility to offer **free training in electric vehicle (EV) maintenance, diagnostics, and manufacturing** to 2,000 Nigerian youths.

Quick Insight: The program will train **1,000 engineering students** and **1,000 mechanics**, equipping them with vital skills to support Nigeria’s transition to electric mobility. The training is completely free and open to all eligible youths.

1. Programme Scope & Objectives

Participants will receive practical training in EV diagnostics, battery systems, repair techniques, manufacturing, and research. The initiative aims to build a skilled EV workforce ready to serve workshops, service centers, and research labs across Nigeria.

2. “Historic Milestone” for Green Mobility

YIPF Director General Tony Nwulu called the project a “historic milestone”—highlighting its role in ensuring the country is not caught off guard as EV adoption grows. Participants can apply online at no cost.
