James Hope College runs a distinct curriculum, which combines the Nigerian curriculum with the UK National curriculum. The breadth of the curriculum provides students with experiences and learning opportunities across a range of subjects – Science, Mathematics, Humanities, Languages, Business Studies, Music-Art, Drama & Design. In addition to Guidance & Counselling, our enviable academic record in the CAIE checkpoint, BECE, IGCSE and WAEC results (see appendix) is testament of this robust structure in place, dedication and skills of our teaching staff and the sheer determination of our students.
State of the Art Facilities
Our classrooms are appropriately furnished with air conditioning, interactive whiteboards and experienced teaching staff, ensuring a comfortable learning environment.
Our Specialist classrooms, including the Music, Science, Design and IT labs are well equipped for 21st century teaching and learning. The IT systems are password-enabled, with every student accessing with their unique login details.
The Library contains both hardcopy and digital materials, ensuring easy access to unique sites and other world wide web for digital resources.
Our Extensive Sport fields provide opportunities for all types of physical activities. A Sports hall is also available to complement this and cater for indoor games and activities.
The school environs is well maintained and have shaded sit-outs, providing spaces for students to congregate and socialise during breaks and on weekends
