Kaduna BECE Hybrid CBT Pilot Phase II & Mock Exercise 2026



The Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority (KSSQAA) has announced the Phase II rollout of the 2026 BECE Hybrid Computer-Based Test (CBT) pilot.

An optional Mock CBT has also been scheduled to help students gain practical experience before the main examination. The mock exercise is free and designed to prepare candidates for the digital testing environment.

Step 1: About the BECE Hybrid CBT Pilot

The Hybrid CBT pilot is part of Kaduna State’s move toward modern and reliable examination systems.

  • Arrival Time: 7:00 a.m.
  • Exam Starts: 8:00 a.m.

Candidates must arrive early to complete necessary checks before the exam begins.

Step 3: Approved Mock CBT Centres

The following centres have been approved for the mock exercise:

  • Zaria: ZEDA, Gaskiya Road
  • Kaduna North: Beijing International School, Kawo
  • Kaduna North: Essence International School
  • Kaduna South: Queen Amina College
  • Zangon Kataf: St. Thaddeus Academy

Step 4: Key Information for Candidates

Candidates should note the following:

  • CBT candidates will receive the same certification as paper-based candidates
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for transportation
  • Students should prepare adequately for the digital exam format
