Liora International School Port Harcourt
Welcome to Liora International School, a place where we light up the world through sound and relevant education. LIORA like our name states, is a proclamation of having the light… not just any light, but the right LIGHT. Therefore our institution is committed to helping every child discover the right light and making it theirs, such that they can stand the test of time producing excellent results and reforming their world for the better. We are a Day, Co-educational institution, who run a peculiar curriculum- a fusion of best practices around the world with specific reference to the Nigerian, British and Montessori curricula.
Liora Pre-School and Basic School were founded on August 1, 2015; while Liora College was founded on September 9, 2017. Our three schools are currently located in the welcoming environs of Elelenwo Community, Obio/ Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria.
Our facilities include well equipped laboratories and workshops, a library, and classrooms whose aggregate capacity can hold well over 300 pupils (across the three schools) at an average of 20 pupils per class.
The Board of Liora School formulates policies for the school. The Director of studies Co – ordinates all three schools, working hand- in- glove with each school’s Supervisory Head who is in charge of the day-today running the respective schools.
Liora has in its employ well trained and seasoned personnel who are abreast with modern child-centered educational methods
