About Learning Gate Schools
Learning Gate Schools (LGS) was founded by the late Mrs. Margret Ojuolape Agbaje, who was a retired teacher, headmistress and member of the Board of Corona Schools Trust Council. The school started as a nursery school in September 1997, and then grew into a full-fledged nursery and primary school.
By August 2004, the school had up to Primary 3 level. The same year, the founder passed away and her daughter, Mrs. Morenikeji O. Adepoju took over operations. The total number of students from pre-school through primary at that time was sixty children. Since inception, the school has gained a reputation for academic excellence, inculcating the right values in its students and preparing them for life. The Founder was an educationist and a stickler for high standard and discipline, believing that core values imbibed at an early stage would be ingrained and make a better future.
The foundation of LGS is built on high academic standards, moral behavioral conduct and extra-curricular activities all of which ensure a well-rounded qualitative education.
Learning Gate Schools was registered with the corporate affairs commission (CAC) in 2006, and the school received its State license from the Ministry of Education in August 2016.
Today the school is solidly positioned as a premium provider of qualitative private basic education anchored on a sense of responsibility to society.
