Dalex Royal College Ilorin
Dalex Royal College began as an educational center in a rented apartment in 1998, founded by the late Chief Alexander Olukorede Iyekolo. With the support of his wife, Dr. (Mrs.) Olushola Iyekolo, a dedicated educationist, the institution evolved into a full-fledged college in 2001 after receiving provisional approval from the Kwara State Government. The school started with just 28 students—18 boys and 10 girls.
In 2006, the school obtained full approval as a co-educational institution and began presenting students for external examinations such as WASSCE and NECO. Over the years, Dalex Royal College has produced many outstanding students who have achieved remarkable success in various fields.
In 2009, the school relocated to its permanent site, marking a significant milestone in its journey. By October 2021, Dalex Royal College celebrated its 16th graduation ceremony, a testament to its commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development.
