Human Resource:
The principal is a seasoned educational administrator, disciplinarian and trained
counsellor. He has over fifteen years working experience in both public and private organizations. He has successfully handled many educational and developmental projects on behalf of government, firm, high net worth individuals. No-doubt, he is a teacher per- excellence.
Teaching Staff:
Highly qualified, competent, enthusiastic, self propelled and self motivated teaching staff.
Physical Resource / Logistic:
Our class-rooms are purpose built, spacious, well ventilated and students friendly. Our ICT room is well equipped and designed for the training of the students. The software packages are carefully selected to cater for the needs of the students.
Laboratories:
A peep to our Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agric and Basic-Tech laboratories will no-doubt convince every academic oriented mind that our teachings are practical oriented. Available equipment is in excess of the need of current number on roll.
Security:
The college is secured by high walls. Our security men are humane, courteous, intelligent and firm.
History
The college was founded in 1960, under the private proprietorship of Chief R.A.Agbayewa of blessed memory. At inception the college was christened LASCA - Lagos State Commercial Academy.
The school was formerly situated at Shiro Street, Fadeyi, Lagos. In 1961 relocated to its present base. The college was converted to State school under the civilian administration of Governor Lateef Jakande, and subsequently renamed Ilupeju College. It is interesting to note that the college was returned back to the original owners in 2001 by Governor Ahmed Tinubu. Agbayewa Memorial College has for five (5) decades provided qualitative education to both Nigerians and expatriates. The college has built a legacy of excellence and instrumental to the production of array of competent men and women of great substance in and outside Nigeria. Honesty, Integrity and Hard-work have been our core value that can not be compromised.
