About Royal Breed International School
RBIS is an innovative, diverse and forward thinking learning community comprising of a Creche, Toddlers Community, Preschool and Junior School. The School was established to enhance the qualitative education and all round development of children as well as to maximize their learning experiences – from early childhood through the elementary years to adolescence.
We adopt a broad and balanced curriculum that promotes the spiritual, moral, social, cognitive and physical development of children. The Toddlers community and Preschool use a unique blend of the Montessori and Early Years Foundation Stage curricular while the Junior school runs with a rich blend of the British and Nigerian curricular. Our curriculum embeds the effective use of technology enabling the acquisition of skills in computer coding, robotics, movie making, animation and digital citizenship – indispensable skills for success and leadership in a globalized, connected and emerging world of the future.
RBIS is committed to 21st Century Learning. We believe that life in the 21st century requires more than the old “3Rs” of Literacy but now “8” core skills of Collaboration, Communication, Critical thinking, Creativity, Problem-solving, IT, Leadership, Research & analyses and globalization. These underpin our operations in RBIS - helping each child communicate, collaborate, and exercise creativity and critical thinking while both consuming and producing content that connects them with their world in ways that are personally meaningful and relevant.
Our dynamic and passionate teaching staff team delivers exciting approaches to learning and teaching based on the flipped classroom and collaborative learning; altogether providing the best possible support to foster well educated, responsible, confident and fulfilled children at their best ie Royal Breeds
