About Saint John Paul II College
About Saint John Paul II College is a modern and digital oriented coeducational institution located at Shelter Afrique, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. It was founded on September 9, 2019,in the premises of its Nursery and Primary School. Twenty-three students and nine teachers were the pioneer members of the College. The support staff were borrowed from the Nursery and Primary School. The College moved to its permanent site on January 11, 2021, after its commissioning on January 1, 2021, by Distinguished Senator (Dr) Godswill Obot Akpabio, the Honorable Minister of Niger Delta Affairs.
Saint John Paul II College is a school that believes in excellence and pursues the goal of nurturing every child to greatness, the background notwithstanding.The College holistically forms her students academically, physically, morally and socially through a well-organized curricular, extra-curricular and co-curricular programme which are implemented by qualified and ICT compliant instructors.
The College structures and premises are architecturally laid out in a way that promotes conducive learning and healthy living.The classrooms, fully airconditioned, have digitally installed learning assistance which helps to familiarize the learners with every lesson.
In Saint John Paul II College, we believe in the application of every knowledge learnt and the students’ abilities to practically solve problems. Hence, our students receive practical lessons in well-equipped laboratories and are thoroughly supervised to build out their creativity in consonance with the principles of applied science and technology.
Our College is a boarding school with modern boarding facilities and has conscientious Boarding House Managers and resident Nurses who take care of our boarders. The boarding arrangements and facilities guarantee both the health and comfort of our students.
