The NAOWA College Abuja (TNCA) is a great school. It stands very tall among many great co-educational schools in Nigeria. Located strategically at the foot of Aso Rock, TNCA provides a secured and serene learning environment to all students. It makes learning fun to all students. The school runs with the vision of becoming “ a distinct school known for rogorous and relevant curriculum… that is student-centred and goal-orientated”.
This vision runs paripassu with the mission statement of educating a total child who will be confident , creative and responsive . So great as it is today, TNCA is a product of a nascent vision caught by Mrs Nnena Ihejirika.
This vision was nurtured and birthed with the proper take-off of TNCA in September, 2013.
However, TNCA had a humble beginning. Like a mustard seed planted in a fertile soil, TNCA started in 2013 with as few as nine students . Nevertheless, shortly after that seemingly weak take-off, the number quickly grew to thirteen; then to eighjteen. Yet, it
was relatively miserable a population. Amazingly, by the next session (2014/2015 academic session)the total number of students rose to eight-six. It was overwhelmingly explosive; hence after this major breakthrough, the population started soaring higher, thereby culminating in the present population of two hundred and eighteen (218) students.
