YUMSUK (Northwest University Kano) Post-UTME / DE 2025/2026: Cut-Off, Eligibility & Registration
Yusuf Maitama Sule University (formerly Northwest University, Kano) has announced its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening process for the 2025/2026 admission cycle. Below are what we know so far about cut-off marks, eligibility, cost, and how to apply.

1. Eligibility Criteria
- Candidate must have chosen YUMSUK (Northwest University Kano) as **First Choice** during JAMB registration.
- Must have a minimum of **5 credit passes** including *English Language* and *Mathematics* in SSCE or equivalent, in not more than **2 sittings**.
- UTME candidates must have a JAMB score meeting the course cut-off (varies by programme).

2. Cut-Off Marks by Programme
- Medicine & Surgery (MBBS): ~ **220 and above**
- Science programmes (e.g. Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology, Computer Science): ~ **180 and above**
- Social Science / Business-oriented courses: ~ **160-180**
- Arts, Languages, Education & related fields: ~ **150-170** depending on the subject.
3. Registration & Screening Process
- Visit the YUMSUK official website → go to the **2025 Admission Portal / Screening portal** to register.
- Enter your JAMB number, generate payment invoice → pay **₦2,000** via Remita.
- After payment, complete the registration, print acknowledgment slip (to present during screening).
- Also print exam / screening slips as required for the aptitude test or DE screening.
