University of Ibadan Begins Post-UTME/DE Screening for 2025/2026 Admission

University of Ibadan Post-UTME 2025 Screening

The University of Ibadan (UI) has officially opened its portal for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening. Registration runs from **Monday, 21 July 2025**, to **Saturday, 17 August 2025**. Candidates who scored **200 or above** in the 2025 UTME are eligible to register.

Quick Insight: Registration is strictly from 21 July to 17 August 2025—no extensions will be granted. The competitive Post-UTME exam itself is scheduled for **Monday, 25 August to Wednesday, 27 August 2025**.

Registration Instructions

Visit the UI Admission Portal: admissions.ui.edu.ng
Log in using your JAMB Reg Number (e.g., 202412345678EG) as username and your surname (in uppercase) as the initial password.
Pay a **portal access fee of ₦3,000** and **screening fee of ₦2,000** using any of the following methods:
- ATM (Debit/Credit card)
- Internet banking
- Cash at designated banks (via printed invoice)
Be sure to print your payment receipt afterward.

Exam Dates & Communication

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) Post-UTME screening continues from **Monday, 25 August to Wednesday, 27 August 2025**. Individual exam schedules and venues will be shared — ensure your email address and phone number are valid and active to receive updates.

Eligibility & Direct Entry Requirements

UTME candidates: Minimum score of **200** and UI must be your first-choice institution.
Age: Must be **at least 16 years old by 30 September 2025** to be cleared for admission.
O’Level Requirements:
- College of Medicine & Pharmacy: **5 credits in one sitting**.
- Other programmes: At least **6 credits across two sittings**.
Direct Entry candidates: Upload credentials (NCE, ND, HND, A-level, NCE, etc.) via email to **ugadmissions@stu.ui.edu.ng**. UI does not accept IJMB or JUPEB.
