Fully Funded Czech Republic University Scholarships for Nigerians (2026/27)
The Government of the Czech Republic is offering fully funded university scholarships for Nigerians and other developing-country nationals for the 2026/2027 academic year. These available opportunities are part of Czech development cooperation programs designed to support higher education in Czech public universities. Applications are open until September 30, 2025.
What’s Covered?
- Full tuition for selected Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. programs taught in English or Czech (depending on the degree and your nationality)
- Monthly stipend: CZK 16,000 for Bachelor’s and Master’s students, and CZK 17,000 for Ph.D. candidates — to cover living expenses like accommodation, food, and transport
Eligible Programs
- Czech-language Programs: Includes Bachelor’s (limited to Georgia), follow-up Master’s for select countries, and a one-year preparatory Czech language course.
- English-language Programs: Includes two-year follow-up Master’s and Ph.D. studies (open to all eligible countries).
Application Requirements
- For Bachelor’s: completion of secondary education.
- For Master’s: a recognized Bachelor’s degree.
- For Ph.D.: a relevant Master’s degree.
- Applicants to English programs must pass an online English test and any university entrance exam.
Travel and health coverage beyond standard care are generally not included. Also, students must complete their programs within the stipulated duration to remain eligible for the stipend.
