OPEC Fund Young Professional Development Program 2026 Now Open

The YPDP is a two-year program providing training, coaching, mentoring, and practical experience across OPEC Fund departments. Participants will gain insights into how different units contribute to the Fund’s strategic and operational objectives, while helping developing countries address social, environmental, and economic challenges.

Candidates must:
• Be nationals of an OPEC Fund member country.
• Be 30 years of age or younger at the time of application.
• Hold at least a Master’s degree from a recognized university.
• Have a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience.
• Be fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Have a background in fields relevant to the Fund, including Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, IT, Law, or HR.
• Demonstrate cross-cultural sensitivity, teamwork, and communication skills.

Participants will gain:
• Rotations among various OPEC Fund departments.
• On-the-job experience in global development projects.
• Access to mentoring and coaching.
• Exposure to professional networks and leadership development.
• Potential for employment at the OPEC Fund upon successful completion.
